That's a great list. I really love the "thank the universe/God", it's a constant reminder that there's still beauty around us. It's an amazing skill to practice when going to bed + waking up.
Thanks a lot for subscribing! And agree with what you said but its the conscious effort to stay calm regardless of the situation is what counts. Emotions are natural for us humans but being aware of the emotions and maintaining a balance is the key to a peaceful life.
Totally agree with setting an intention for you meditation - this was game-changing for me and stopped it being something I just did on autopilot (and therefore didn't feel much benefit from!) X

Practicing gratitude is best done before sleeping or after waking up...it leads to fulfillment. Glad you found it useful!
