This was such a wonderful read. I think for most of my life, I didn't know who I was. I stuck to the identity of "hopeful mom" mom, and marine wife. And then all of those were shattered and I was left trying to pick up the pieces.
These tips and questions would have been so helpful years ago and I know they will help someone else out there!

One of the sentences in your post reminded of the quote that I think is attributed to Blaise Pascal - "You would not seek me if you had not found me". I often find myself reaching out to this quote for some amusement and reassurance in times when existence can be slightly overwhelming.
